The black-bottom chocolate pie from epicurious. The most wonderfully decadent pie I have ever made.

Oooh! Not sure I approve of the wisps of cream getting in the way, but ooooh!

Agree with Falstaff. There’s way too much cream. Too distracting.

well, ideally one would have wanted to mix in some of the cocoa in the cream, but when one has to carry the pie some 200 miles and layer the icing right after consuming insane amounts of turkey, plain cream seemed like a good compromise. :) but the best part about making this pie is dealing with molten bitter-sweet ghirardelli chocolate…
